EPIC: A service for verifying medical credentials

  • EPIC is a web-based platform that allows physicians and organizations to verify the authenticity of medical credentials related to education, training, and registration/licensure.

  • EPIC uses the same primary-source verification process as ECFMG, which confirms the authenticity of credentials directly with the issuing institutions.

  • EPIC helps physicians build a digital career portfolio of their verified credentials, which they can share with organizations worldwide for various opportunities.

  • EPIC provides organizations access to primary-source verified credentials of their physician applicants, at no cost, through a secure portal.

Modern Apps Contribution​

The Connected Apps Team has built a portal for organizations not yet registered for the EPIC Report portal, allowing case workers to send reports directly to individuals.
