Expectations

What you can expect from your co-op experience at Intealth​

  • Co-ops are not treated as a sub-class of an employee.
  • You will be given as much responsibility as you can take on.
  • Your efforts will be used in production systems.
  • The team is there to support you; you will learn a lot, and you will be challenged.

What is expected of you​

Active Participation​

  • Active participation in 2x daily scrum meetings
  • Come prepared with a succinct summary of:
    • what you’ve done
    • what you will do
    • any problems preventing you from moving forward

Independence​

  • Try to find solutions on your own, but ask for help if you’re not getting anywhere

💡 If you spend more than one day on the same issue, ask for guidance on finding a solution.
The team won’t likely give direct answers, but instead will help guide you to finding it yourself so you develop your problem-solving skills.
